We've made a replacement grate for the 18.5 weber smokey mountain grill. Having said that, many creative people have developed modifications that improve the functionality, convenience and style of the cooker. Grate is made very well, and works as described. I have also been reading about the mods people are suggesting and one that seems very popular is to install a 2nd charcoal grate with handles of some sort.
