Overall, the local dimming does a good job limiting the blooming around our moving highlight, but similarly, as the 2016 version, it still dims the moving highlight too much, especially when transiting from one dimming zone to another. It made its debut earlier that year at ces 2020, and will remain. The best vizio 70 xled in 2022. Samsung uses the same local dimming that vizio does in many of their sets, but in samsung’s world, those sets are called qled.
