I had a visonic powermax complete wireless alarm system fitted to my house 8 months ago by a recommended and supposedly 'professional' installer.
The panel adds straight away but there is no last event or devices (door or pir's) added. Scroll through the menus until you see factory deflt, press. Problem is i now get a tamper alarm message for the living room (as well as the low siren battery message) i've tried refitting the living room sensor carefully but same message. Panel seemed as if it was dead but pressing any key flashed blue light.
Couple of weeks ago it stopped responding to the remotes so i looked at the panel and it felt as if the panel was dead.
We changed sensors few months ago but recently the problem appeared again and worse. Can eliminate the problem by closing the door/window or by performing forced arming (zone deactivation) if this option was enabled by the system installer. There is no trbl in memory and alarm seems to be working fine. The pannel displays messages like (front door ac failure) but the sensor on the front door is powered by a dc battery.
