Rj45 connectors are for ethernet or network cables. Dm200 (modem) d6220, d6400, d7000[v2], d7800 (modem+router) generally, netgear seems to have lost interest in dsl. The problem is, i have internet connection where my isp cable uses rj45 while the router dsl input is rj11.

Now a dsl modem will connect to your isp via rj11 but the modem then converts ( mo dulates/ dem odulates) the signal for use with networks.

It would be wrong to have a house prewired for a network using rj11 sockets. This archer a7 is only a wireless router and it must work with a modem. From ground floor i have a patch panel with cat5e cables terminating to the 3rd floor. If you want to move your router you will have to trace the cat5e the rj11 jack to wherever it begins.

Actually i have a wireless adsl router and it takes rj11 as input for internet, but my provider cable is rj45 , so i need a converter to plug that rj45 to my router to use internet. It doesn’t fit perfectly physically, but it works electrically. Dsl router phone jack to ethernet adapter rj11 to rj45 adapter. If your providers has rj45 cable it means that it already give you an ethernet connection, so you don't need an adsl router, but an ethernet router (something like the linksys wrt610n).

You will also need a moca adapter if you want to use your own router. Got few ones with rj45 but i need the rj11 one. This would correspond to pins 4 and 5 on a normal rj45. So your side of the modem will use an ethernet cable to your router.

Your wall jack is using pin numbers 3 and 4 for the phone line/data pair. That should be able to project the wireless connection right?? So assuming you want to use adsl, you will need an eight wire system, so any adapter from rj45 to rj11 wont work. The problem is a mismatch between the rj11 pair and what rj45 uses for data.
