Pineal Gland Cyst Surgery Recovery

After growing up with headaches, migraines, and other random health issues, i was diagnosed with a 7mm pineal cyst when my migraines became chronic and my vision started to alter. My daughter has a 1.65 cm cyst, we have been to so many, many doctors, including mayo clinic, all not wanting to do the surgery, she has been out of work for several months.

The scientific literature on the surgical treatment of pcs is sparse and encompasses only case series with little over 200 operated patients combined. Even the process of accessing the tumor stereotactically to perform a biopsy can be quite involved, subjecting the patient to the risk of hemorrhage or direct neurologic injury.
