Pineal cysts are most common in young adults, especially women. So i had traditional open brain surgery to remove the cyst & my pineal gland which had been destroyed by the cyst. I've posted about this before but it's been a little while. A biopsy to obtain a small piece of tumor for pathology or a full surgical resection to remove as much of the mass as possible are options.
