I don't believe this is the original box the pen came in. The pen has the same body design as other pelikan m600 pens and the same piston filling system. This technique is used in fountain pens to this date, while the design and technical details of the pens have been developed over time.

The pelikan m600 is not much different than the m400 in length (m400 is 127mm long while the m600 is 134 mm long) nor in diameter (m400 is 11.7mm and the m600 is 12.4mm) but for my small hands, i always thought the jump was a big one.
