I can heartily recommend this lens to anyone needing these focal lengths. Similar to the number of aperture blades, rounded blades affect the way the light gets through to the sensor. Of course they can be smaller and lighter if the telephoto end has a smaller aperture. Om 100mm f/2.8 macro is patent.
