This latest olympus lens is the first telephoto in the m.zuiko pro series that features a dust, splash and freezeproof construction, durable enough. Temps averaged in the single digits to low teens, with much colder wind chills. Btw, if you haven’t been here, they do amazing work to care for and rehabilitate wildlife.

The fact that it offers a unique zoom range. The combination of great build quality and performance alone are enough to recommend this lens. Mounted on the em1 this is a formidable combination for wildlife photography. Some were taken indoors with even less light or through a window.
