Mulberry and raspberry, perhaps just a touch of white flowers. Firm and juicy, with a long finish of berries and mineral. The 2010 nuits saint georges 1er cru aux boudots has a thickly layered black fruit on the nose: Well judged oak and lovely long finish.
Shows some reduction on the nose, but otherwise features rich cherry, pomegranate and mineral flavors.

The northern part of nuits, close to vosne, produces wines of great finesse. Long on the aftertaste and with ample character. The côte de nuits benefited not only from a slightly later harvest, but from lower precipitation in august.
