The action has a claw extractor used for positive loading and unloading of rounds. Appears to have a mauser military action like used during wwii. I'm hoping someone can help me identify my dads mauser 30 06 hunting rifle.

Belgian proofs are stamped on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech with the fn logo on top of the receiver and the fn address on the left receiver wall.

The right side of the receiver, the right side of the barrel shank and the underside of the bolt handle are all marked with the serial number. As a standard infantry rifle. It does have the german markings on the side of the reciever. Comes with a simmons scope.
