I have a ceiling light with 5 x g4 bulbs.
They will flicker and they may burn out.
We've got 12v halogen g4 fixtures mounted under our kitchen cabinets and would like to use led's instead. Make sure this fits by entering your model number. When a bulb blows, which quite a few have/already had when i moved in, i have tried replacing it bulb for bulb but that spotlight still doesn't work. Why the g4 or gu5.3 (mr16) bulb is flickering or not working at all?

So i pushed them to make sure they were properly 'in' and all seemed fine. All connections were tight, bulbs were a reasonable quality and. It would probably be easiest to buy a set of 3 g4 halogen cabinet lights and use the parts from that to fit your existing fittings. So although gu5.3 or g4 bulbs need a rectifier as can be put in either way around they still often need a dc regulated supply the peaks on a 50 hz supply is too much for the led.
