With power/reset it doesn't matter. The arrow (triangle) goes to power or reset (not ground). As a general rule of thumb (for standard 16:9 displays):

Some of the connectors (especially the led's) are polarized, meaning that they have to be connected in the correct polarity.
For best results, clean the contacts with fine sandpaper or a wire brush.

None of the 4000 series, or 5000 series comes with a hdd led indicator, so this is a mistake in the user manual. The problem seems to reside somewhere in the hard drive its self. Usb3 (far left), front panel. I'm using it to drive 4 wd 100gb 7200rpm se drives.
To insure that this combination never applies more thana 5 volts to the hdd led logic, add another resistor from the junction of the zener and the first resistor to ground.
You know all those connectors from the case to the motherboard that are standard, powerswitch reset switch power led and pc speaker (and hdd led)? Say hello to your front panel cables: Oh right, i was wondering what the heck is going on quote me in a reply so i can see the notification! There are multiple wires coming from the front panel but no indication of polarity on their connectors. I have the same case here, and have 3 sets of connectors for the fp1 connector.
I have heard that one can connect a hdd led to the ide connector on the drive instead of using the motherboard's pins. You’ll need headers for their connections on your motherboard to connect each and every connector accessible in your pc case. I searched the forum but didn't find a definitive answer. 1080p up to 24, 1440p up to 30, and 4k from 30 inches and up will give a good balance between pixels per inch to deliver a good viewing experience.
I can't seem to find out, but i wanted to know what the little arrow pointing to one pin on one side meant.
