The committee will also expel Egyptians by diplomatic means as per press. Currently the Halaib Triangle is controlled by Egypt which claims the treaty from 1899 that established the borderline along the 22nd parallel. Sudan recognizes the treaty from 1902 which grants the Halaib Triangle to Sudan and Bir Tawil to Egypt.
