Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to joe mccarthy and george orwell i guess. I spotted my deer at 240 yards, snuck into 186 yards and was able to drop the deer on the first shot, right where i was aiming. They are similar to the czech vz. Stamps and markings are clear and sharp.

I look at a comercial mauser 98 sporting rifle made in the 1950'screated with magix movie edit pro 2016 The bolt has a checkered face for ease of. This rifle has a 24” barrel with clean sharp rifling and a timney mauser sportsman trigger, the stock is in good condition and the barrel, bolt and receiver are matching numbers.
Bolt is bent, has the full spelling of fn on left side of receiver, short barrel, and is pretty much all there with a rough finish.
Be assured of the fine metalwork and heat treatment on any fn contract though and make it a project. Or leave it, for one helluva pickup/atv gun.
