We are getting a howdens kitchen and i have been advised to get a wall rail from ikea for the wall cabinets. Discussion in 'kitchen fitters' talk' started by greenstarthree, apr 9, 2020. I've got home and realised that i may actually need some cabinet fixings that actually go on to the rail, or can i use the standard wall cabinet fixings?

Ikea metod suspension rail or not ?

Cut the suspension rail with a hacksaw to the cumulative length of all cabinet units to be hung on the wall.
The rails have many holes so there’s always a hole over a wall stud. You can adjust the wall cabinets horizontally before you lock them in place on the rail. You can cut the rails or combine several to the desired length. Ikea wall cabinet (metod rail system) fixings.
