Personally though when i think mini hatchet i'm thinking more along the lines of my vaughan sub zero sportsman's axe or gransfors bruks small hatchet aka mini hatchet or outdoor axe.
Sadly it weighs just 3.4 oz less than my full size hatchet. Bought a fiskars x5 (9) mini hatchet because it was listed at weighing 1 lb 1 oz. Ad browse & discover thousands of brands. And i've seen some folks who love the fiskars/gerber version and get a lot of use out of them.
