It takes place in the fate/extra and fate/extra ccc world.
The game is the third installment in the universe that began with fate/extra and the second one to be released outside of japan. It’s admittedly a little pricey at £49.99, but for those looking for some dynasty warriors style action, it fits the bill quite nicely. It was released in japan on november 10, 2016 and in north america on january 17, 2017. 10 cards based on newly added characters.
The umbral star makes for an entertaining hack and slash experience which feels right at home on the nintendo switch.
If you're considering fate extella, it's worth mentioning that it's one of the games where the switch version runs at half the frame rate of the ps4 version. I used ps4 controller and i can't lock target or move camera,right analog not work #2. It was first announced in march 2016 and released in japan in november 2016 for the playstation 4 and playstation vita consoles; The ps4/psv japanese version supports only the japanese language and nothing else.

That aside, i'd recommend hyrule. Fate/extella (フェイト/エクステラ, feito/ekusutera?, localized as fate/extella: Fate extella switch vs vita (?) question so when fate extella came out in january i was forced to choose between portable vita or somewhat enhanced version (ps4) i ended up buying the vita version because it was cheaper and portable, but i still wanted the enhanced graphics and more enemies and other little stuff. Umbral star focused the story more on your servant chosen.
So there's been confirmation through fps testing that the switch runs at a stable 30 fps.

Like the story is much shorter, and the musou gameplay changed to spammable skills, making playing this game still worth it overallthat does sound like fun. In case some stage only have 2 np' circuits, you have to steal the 3rd one from boss, by hit/comboing him/her just when he/she will use the np.

There is a sequel that is better in some ways (also the switch port runs like a dream on switch, pretty much on part with the ps4 ver), but worse in others. Link was more of a console game due to it high res and small fonts. Link focused the story more on the crossroads that you choose that branches out. Collect the np' circuits (all 3 each stage) from sectors.
