The final boss is actually fun this time. While fate/extella link has been out for a bit in japan, it’s not yet available in the west. The minute to minute gameplay of massacring your way through hundreds of enemies is undeniably the highlight. Fate/extella link is an action game that acts as a sequel to fate/extella:
Its story is shorter but more entertaining, its combat is massively improved thanks to you having more abilities at your disposal, and it both looks and sounds better too.
Any inputs will be written with universal terms, ie. You can use whatever characters you have unlocked for story mode. It features a new story that takes place after the original focusing on the saber charlemagne. Note also that this guide was made through gameplay on the nintendo switch version only and completely played through on single player without any dlc in use initially.

A copy of fate/extella link was provided by the publisher. The umbral star, but pretty much everything about it is just better. Fate/extella link is available march 19th on ps4, ps vita, steam, and switch. The umbral star, which married that.
Link is far superior to it's predecessor, however i've found the story to be somewhat dull compared to other stories in the fate universe, and it is definitely lacking in depth as compared to umbral star or the original f/sn visual novel.
