The Kindergarten Diagnostic Assessment was created to be used with my students to learn what skills the student already had. If kindergarten students are learning about patterns a summative assessment could be having the students make a pattern poster with stickers or stamps and having them label the type of pattern. It can also be used at the end of the school to see what skills the student has mastered.
