Made by fn for colombia pre war in 7 mm, then the whole shipment was sent back to fn in europe to be rebored in 1952 to 3006 calibre so they could use american ammunition. Lovely, and having original crest on action.
In the early 1930s, colombia bought fn model 24 and 30 rifles in 7×57mm mauser.
It sounds very much like an fn model 1950 then. There is a gouge in the stock that has been filled. Should be a good shooter. This is a private sale so your ffl dealer must accept shipments from an individual.
Mine was a standard military model, ugly as hillary, but more reliable.
Trigger guard is bent slightly but should be easy enough to correct. I have a peruivan fn modelo 1935 that was rebarreled in the 50's to 30/06. Bolt is bent, has the full spelling of fn on left side of receiver, short barrel, and is pretty much all there with a rough finish.
Fine action and shoots tight groups esp with fmj ammo. Good to very good overall condition. Trying to figure out what exactly it is. Mine was pretty well used, but still shot well.
