Discussion starter · #1 · oct 24, 2009. I have a 2006 300c 5.7l, and want to know if i can replace the cps fairly easy or will i have to take it to a shop. It can usually be found mounted to the timing cover. Ok so i finally found out that the awd 300c has the starter on the opposite side of the engine block which means that i wont even have to touch the starter!
It is positioned and bolted into a machine hole in the engine block.
Crank sensor 3.5 monitors the flywheel at the right side (pass) transaxle housing just below the cat. Chris , technician replied 7 years ago ok, the crankshaft position sensor on the 5.7 hemi is on the right side of the cylinder block. We have the best products at the right price.
